I find hyprland extremely bare, it's missing a proper panel and desktop shell.

Am I retarded for not even using a panel, I just don't get why it's necessary with a tiling window manager. I get to know what exactly, that I'm on workspace 1, 2, 3 etc? What does that even tell me? It doesn't tell me what windows are open elsewhere. and what else the time? I can just type date into a terminal if I need to but who cares really
