most new technology i have to interact with feels like it was deliberately designed to confuse me rather than provide some sort of necessary utilitythe button i'm about to click on says it will do a particular thing, but then i click on it and my expectations are subverted and i'm presented with information that i can't reasonably expect to see when i click on the button that i expect to do a particular thingi can't tell if im developing dementia or something but trying to sign up for a service or an """" app"""" or try to navigate through a menu to change a setting "how do we make something useful" vs. "how do we appear to be useful while confusing the user for as long as possible while we siphon all that behavior data to sell in bulk" kill all these fucking people. shoot them in the mouth with a rifle

>>107598822I notice this too desu, and most of it is axed by using an adblocker imo. There's so many ads in webpages with fake ui elements it's almost shocking when you turn it off for a second and see just how much of a clusterfuck it looks like.
don't use them
