Looks like shit, tho, the underlying OS and new phones are great now after the debacle of the prior release, although I know about the keyboard issue but I use gboard so wasn't affected myself.

I would not find this annoying, if you could simply turn it of.. but you can't. You can only tweak certain settings like shadow, contrast and shit.
