Why are you not suing F#?

I can't afford a lawyer.

>>107606087Functional programming is cancer. I prefer C#. Yes, object oriented shit is also cancer but you can just jam all your functions and variables into one static class and pretend you're writing a normal program.

>>107606442>unoptimized>garbage compiler errorsIt's a language, not a compiler. Optimisation depends on what a particular compiler does, so your criticism doesn't really make sense. And there are very good optimising compilers of standard ml, see https://github.com/MLton/mlton>"woah you did a heckin tycoon mismatch somewhere in that massive code block I just vomited out"Skill issue
>>107606087what do they need to be sued for?
F# lives such a cursed existence. It’s a great language but functional autists abhor Microsoft and Microsoft jeets don’t understand functional programming If F# was called something else, not made by microsoft, and all its .NET libs were called something unrelated to Microsoft without touching a single thing from them, it would be the most popular functional language
>>107606592I'm sure you could throw the book at Microsoft. It's winning that's the hard part.
>>107606595Out of all functional languages, F# seems to be among the most popular though. At least judging by results searching on google, youtube and githubMaybe Scala, maybe Haskell are more popular. But all 100 other functional languages are not.Search for "racket" for example. Nobody is doing anything in racket. Even on their subreddit, top posts of the month get like 20 comments and 30 updoots.
