MX Blacks
Scratchy Cherry is just having character, personality in the switch. Cherry's uniquely thick nylon tops make it possible to experience this, combined with swapped springs and polycarbonate films. This was not common before. Diverse plates like PP or POM were not so common before. The scene has changed, FOR THE BETTER.Scratchy ass dry clacks is just character, it's timeless, like vests or checkered shirts. You use modern switches, and they're all well-lubed. Some of them are just lube central if you open up the housing and take a peek at what's inside. Now you put that next to a nice set of MX2A Blacks (Back in Black!), SS'd and filmed to PERFECTION.And they sing. They make themselves heard. And felt. And you remember why Cherry has endured for decades, and it's not just market complacency or boomers or mass orders for office supplies or what the fuck ever. It's timeless. It has a unique base to it, and it's retooled now with the MX2As for the next generation of clickety clackety mechanical keyboard enthusiasts.
When I want scratchy blacks I spread itching powder at KFC.

I have the Keychron Q6 Max. Having trouble finding a plastic sheet to put over the keyboard to still leave it usuable but also to protect it from crumbs, dust, etc. Any recommendations on where to look?
>>107608686I just got a generic 100% acrylic dust cover from Amazon for mine.

i've had this for a while https://www.daskeyboard.com/p/prime13-mechanical-keyboardi like the way it feels but it's a little too loud. can i get a similar mechanical feel with quieter switches?
>>107608986>>107609006I'm talking about something similar to pic related. Just a simple cover that still allows for typing. But all the ones I see are for laptop keyboards, nothing for mechanical.
>>107609284>>107608686I think anything you put on there is going to have the same problem that crumbs and shit will get under it and into the keys. Just clean the keyboard every few months and you'll be fine.
does anybody sell linux keycaps? i want to replace my windows keys (preferably with tux)
