All his wealth comes from government contracts for X to build rockets. His wealth in no way matches the typical earnings of a CEO for a company the size of SpaceX. So Elon is now the richest man in the worth $600B. He is literally the king of government thieves who got hired to stop government thievery....and surprise, he failed.
