Less than 3% of users pay for AI.
That's true, the only person I know paying for the premium tier, whatever it's called, for ChatGPT is a White Canadian kid
>>107612728we pay for AI by being a product. they leach off the public internet
>>107612772>wespeak for yourself, redditard, 4chan is provably exempt from being scraped
>>107612728Large companies are playing for the longer game and all free tiers are in exchange of data, which is looking to be the differentiating factor.
>>107612772If there's a data center near you, you're likely paying higher utility rates as it drives up usage.
>>107612772>implying paid users will never be (((their))) data points"We will not sell your data" is a pinky promise. They will sell your data anyway. It means you pay for a product, and still being a product.
>>107612728That's exactly why you see it shoved everywhere.
>>107612728doesn't matter as long as the potential to replace humans exists it will get funded see Tesla.
>>107612728If those 3% are all enterprise users then it's fine.
100% are paying for iteither directly or via insane price hikes on hardware
>>107612784not sure if trolling
>>107612728>free ai can generate decent enough tits>paid ai can't simple as
>>107612844At this point selling your data is the least an AI service provider will do. The end goal is to drive you towards spending money, living, thinking, and voting how the service provider's ad customers want you to.
>>107612728>he thinks having highly intimate user data isn't valuable in itselfRetard
>>107612728I won't spend money on AI
>>107612728They pay with their data lol
>>107612728Why would you ever spend money on AI if it is free? I wouldn't.
>all this useful marketing data>complete ultra tailored ads >only bots will watch them
>>107613301Can't we just have a slave caste of bots who watch ads for money and buy products to justify their own existence so all humans benefit? We could call them... The Cyber Goyim
>>107613266>>107613301>He thinks OpenAI will repay 2 trillion usd on loads that way
>>107613343Yes it will by working with feds
>>107613353>USA has infinite money when it already has 10+ real inflation on normie shit like foodI love this because is pretty clear dems will win after trump destroy the republican party.
>>107612728What number pay for search?
>>107613367This is infinitely more practical and useful than sending more money to israel for example, which keeps happening by some dark banker magic somehow
>>107613375>USA can forever print money
>>107613395It will stop defiling the gold standard rule any day now, just 2 more decades
>FREE TRIAL!>CLICK HERE FOR FREE TRIAL OF LATEST AI MODEL!>FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! IT'S FREE! JUST CLICK IT!>CLICK THE FREE FUCKING TRIAL FOR THE AI!No.
>>107613395the only reason it can get away with that is because of the US military. as the world slowly starts to see the USA as a slave to israel, and china as their buddy that sends them cheap shit. this will be less and less feasible. 15 malnourished hyenas can kill a lion.
>>107612728Once the bailout comes, everyone will have to pay for it through taxes.
>>107613435all the war games that USA makes, shows USA loses againts china.
>>107612749F P B PPBP
>>107612728you WILL live to see altman raped in the street like a dog
>>107612749Fippity Boppity
>>107613568do you really think the Chinese are this retarded to fall for psyops?
>>107612728Ai could plausibly do the github model where they make it available for free on a small scale so that people ask their employer to get the enterprise version.
>>107612728>Less than 3% of users pay for AI.Makes sense. $20 gives you like 100 prompts per day, nowhere enough for practical things, and $200 is overkill and limits still apply.
>>107613704No, but westerners want to go to war, rather than give up capitalism.
>>107612749It will become your problem when the government uses money collected from you to bail out Sam Altman
>>107612728The first hit is free. When people get addicted, they'll tighten the noose and demand payment. Same thing happened with streaming slop and likewise localchads don't have this problem
>>107612728i use the leaked models on my own PC. so I pay for AI in electricity but enjoy the freedom of unlocked GPT-4
maybe llms and coom skitzo image generators aren't the most useful things and actually are just the more visible biporucts of the ai craze butwhadabout specialized things likeactually DECENT machine translation and ocrcomputer vision and other models in transportation, logistics and industrial production settingimprovements in computer simulationsweather predictionmedical applicationssoftware tools for going through large volumes of existing information, automating researchuuuuuuh the list goes on?those will SURE fill the whatever gap in theconomy, right??
>>1076127283% is far, far higher than I expected, I would have said 1% at most
>>107612761>That's true, the only person I know paying for the premium tier, whatever it's called, for ChatGPT is a White Canadian kidi paid for the 20 buck plus account for a month during college last year. you can only upload like 5 pictures of text a day and have it read/decipher it on the free account. was worth it to get an A on my final.
>>107613367the US wasted trillions on Iraq and Afghanistan they will do the same for Sam Altmann.
>>107612749There's a big whirlpool of money that may or may not actually exist around AI. There's an apparent demand of GW of power to feed the datacenters in which AI will reside. There's enough money in this shitstorm that one could pay off the national public debt of a small nation, which would have immense social and economic returns (but that's socialism, and only already rich people and corporations can have their gibs without it being socialism). There's enough money to fix many societal issues, like infrastructures and healthcare. Problem is: all those money instead are being spent on GPU and datacenters, which will be obsolete in a matter of a couple of years and are currently rotting in warehouses because there's not enough power infrastructure to turn them all on. In other words these money are being mostly burned so that a part can be siphoned off by stakeholders of the main financial actors of this bubble. In the meantime whoever jumped on the bandwagon, and that's a lot of people and financial institutions, will lose everything as the bubble pops. The last time something like that happened it sent the whole world in recession, with dire consequences for the world economy, the real economy that actually impacts real humans. Oh and we got a movie with Margot Robbie in a tub of bubbles to explain the whole thing a decade later. So yeah, as soon as this shit implodes we'll be all poorer regardless of our involvement, and this includes (You).
>>107613838>he pays taxeshahaha everyone point and laugh
>>107614411You pay taxes every time you buy something or refuel your car
