Nothing requires you to login on android. You can just skip all those screens when you set it up and download software (apks) with your web browser like you would on your PC since forever. Logging in and downloading software from an app store is a choice, at least on android. And there are applications that function as a package tool with a repository like on GNU/Linux distros. (F-Droid, Droid-ify etc)

And sure there is still spyware in the preinstalled android distro on most phones. But you can replace that with a lot of phones.

With aurora you are still logging into a google account. They are throwaway google accounts created by aurora (which get banned constantly because they break ToS) but that doesn't change the fact you are still logging into a google account to download apps from google servers.
