With any cheap shared hosting not behind cloudflare you'd have the exact same problem and it has absolutely nothing to do with mitm'ing anything, if there are many sites sharing the same ip address, you need to specify which one you want to open, the server can't magically figure it out.

Which is why they *have to* resort to bypassable shit like DNS poisoning and deep packet inspection.
