Stop promoting OpenBSD on this board. You'll just attract idiots and faggots who will end up shitting up the mailing lists. The entire reason it's a comfy OS is because the usual people that ruin everything are too retarded to figure out how to follow development and discussion.

While I'm ranting about it this is why Linux was ruined. We didn't have all these idiots around until web interfaces for git were built and they could lurk and participate through github. The moment social media type features were added to the Linux development process we started getting dumb shit like CoCs and endless drama only faggots would care about. When it was all still done through the mailing lists none of this was a problem.

Why is FreeBSD starting to suffer so much and import so much cancer? Xenforo powered forum. Where 99% of the people using it can't even use make.

The more "user friendly" and "community focused" a project becomes the worse it becomes. POSIX OSs were already user friendly even in the 80s. The entire point was it being user friendly enough for someone that knew what a compiler was and how to read C. Even if they couldn't program they were at least smart enough to download a tar and extract the contents then run make/make install.

The three major BSDs are already the best documented POSIX based OSs. If retards can't be bothered to read the man pages they shouldn't be hand held. They shouldn't be given a platform to cry on either. Fuck them. They shouldn't be touching a computer in the first place.
>new captcha starts giving me more complex images the moment I switch to OpenBSD workstation despite it being on the same network as my FreeBSD workstation
More proof pledge and unveil work.

computers got worse when the idea that having to expend effort to learn things was deemed bad
