Why don't you use nix?
It looks kinda gay
I use WSL2 on windows. I get netflix/amazon prime/crunchyrool streaming, but can also do actual work and home media server things.So I do use nix. Why don't I use linux, is because the desktop environment has gotten worse/nowhere over the last 25 years.

>>107623946I like that setup for my work pc, I use WSL2 a lot and other machines use Linux VMs. But I don't want that kind of setup for home usage, you are running privacy friendly solutions on a spyware host... But I get it, if you don't care about privacy, this is the "best" pragmatic solution. Yes, Linux distros and DE's aren't perfect, but I'd rather take a small hit on convinience, than running proprietary garbage for something as privat as a home pc, where you basically do everything with.
