how come other dongles don't have line-out and only RU7 does?
>>
>>107625589
because it's inferred that an r2r amp/dac on it's own does not suffice. line-out exists so you can bypass the compromised output and use a proper external amp. line-out exists so you don’t judge the dac by a mediocre op amp. if it was endgame, it wouldn't need line-out.

>set volume to 100%
there you go line out

>iemg activity declines
huh...

Probably because it's a higher-end dac and rightfully should pack itself with more features, meanwhile, for cheaper dacs, it's sorta presumed the buyer is going to use it for their phone and iems and nothing else. Hell, a lot of the cheap dongles don't even allow you to change digital filters regardless if the dac itself supports it.

It requires a 55 IQ, most of the 60s are still here.

nta, but tbf, having line-out isn't a feature as much as it is an admission of the output stage. if the amp was transparent enough, line-out wouldn't really matter.
