The ASOP phones I'm talking about are real minimal, like the TCL Flip Go. 512MB-1GB of RAM, and 8-16GB of storage. They're literal dumb phones without touchscreens, but can run apks. You need another device to act as a pointer sometimes. Check out AOSP flip phones if none of that's a deal breaker for you.
