The way mental health is treated today is so antithetical to helpful. Like pretending that the insane are sane does not actually help them and acting like a problem that needs help - is neither a problem or that help is needed, doesn't help either.People think its mean but maybe it's not the worst thing to give someone the hint that they might be mentally unwell. Maybe it will even instigate the visit to get a diagnosis and treatment. But no, instead people choose to not only ignore it, but prevent other people from even talking about it.
