>DID YOU JUST OPEN THE DEVELOPER CONSOOOOOOOOOOOOLE
How did they know?

if the size of your browser window instantly changes
>>
>>107630871
They know because your browser told them because Google is insisting on it to send as much information as possible to sites for fingerprinting.

I think they have an eventListener that's triggered by screen resolution changes. You may be able to get around it by using a remote debugger.

It's always insane to me how much a browser allows a website to do with your computer and how little it allows you to modify or prevent what's going on. Remember how it took years and years to stop "popups", and even when they added "Don't allow popups" settings to browsers, there were still a dozen ways to get around it and launch new windows anyway? It's just baffling that you can't select an arbitrary javascript function or whatever and say "Never allow webpages to call this", at least not without extensive addons or patching no one will do. And of course if you ever try to bring this up in any of the devtroon forums or githubs it's just "Why do you want that?" and endless dodging.

You can open it in a new window.

That's the problem with computers. Control is an illusion, they're just "follow command" machines. If you're the one giving the commands, you have control. You can "open new window" whenever you want. If someone else gives the exact same command, suddenly it's "malware".

It's just sad that the ideological playing field is such that chuds (and myself) have all the energy to complain but none of the energy to start their own own fork or new project. It's just an inevitable culture divide, the totalitarians are drawn to the huge preexisting monolith projects that provide plenty of avenues for them to worm their way in and devour like so many termites, whereas the whole concept repulses the independence-minded types so they aren't drawn to getting involved in a large enough project to produce a workable browser that doesn't have all the mess from the ground up. Unless you just willingly submit yourself to shit like Lynx that's never going to work with modern sites you'll eventually need, i.e. banking and whatever.

Opening a new widow in my wm will do that too lol

I'm more baffled over how little hacking is going on. It's so easy to do absolutely anything with javascript, but these incompetent skiddies still can't do fucking anything other than "please please PLEAAASE download this shady-ass .exe and execute it PLEAAAAAASE". Just cookie hijack me or something. I should fear for my life every time I click any link with javascript enabled, but I've chrome with javascript enabled on windows for years clicking on a bunch of shady shit with literally nothing happening.

Based dopamine junkie
>>
>>107631502
hackers has been rawdogged by microsoft defender so hard for years that not even executing a random .exe has any chance of doing anything with your computer. It's not enough that nudevs can't write software anymore, these nuhackers can't even properly hack people anymore, it's a sad state of things.
>>
>>107630871
because some retards introduced the debugger statement which automatically triggers a breakpoint when you open the console
