smaller is better
27" 4K is too small.>Just use high DPINo.
32 if you don't care about font rendering (aka tasteless)
>>107637940Depends on viewing distance if it's like "arm's length" (~65cm / 2') or less then 27" for sure. If it's significantly farther away than that then 32".Healthy eyesight has good enough acuity to fully resolve the detail a 27" 4k screen provides at the mentioned viewing distance, there's no reason to buy anything larger because it will just look worse due to lower DPI and would likely be too large to look at the whole thing from so close up.
>>107637940I would have said gigachad 48" 4K but all WOLEDs suck ass now and cannot display whites properly or even display dark subpixels properly without resorting to 20 euro chinesium tier 50% pwm dimmingso just pick 27" 1440p or 32"4k
>>1076379404K 32" if you can afford it AND if you have a 4090 or stronger GPU.I have both, I also use a 5070Ti with a 2k 27" in a secondary PC.You don't need 4k to have fun. A bad game doesn't get any better in higher res.
>>10763794032:9
>>107637940Neither. 24" 4K>OLED
>>107638050cont.also avoid WOLED TV/monitors like the plague unless you can guarantee it doesn't have CPC, else you'll have shitty vignetting effect that can't be turned off permanentlyQD-OLED use dithering like woled but it's infinitely better only using alternating odd even pixels' brightness every refresh, if you want to avoid it then you want lower dpi and higher refresh ratesalso avoid DSC, it's a jewish scam if there is one, it just destroys bit depth and poorly compressible images in motion may look glitchy.
>>1076379404K 24", oh wait those only exist 10 years ago and everyone should suffer in lowdpi on the desktop
>>107637940240hz 24" 1080p IPS
8K 65" if you can find one
>>10763794027" 2.5K resolution
27 inch is the goat (4x 13" laptop)
>>10763794027 inch is the max size you should ever go for a monitor. 24 inch is all you need though.
>>107638071>>107638111/thread>>107638112second best option, 1440p has shit scaling and is only good for gayming.
>>107638098>also avoid DSCI had to use it for like a week while a waited on a longer UHBR20 capable cable for my PG27UCDM. It's impossible to tell. I really went out of my way to look at videos of confetti or stuff like that, and my eyes stopped being able to keep up before I could find anything. You'd have to engineer the video to screw DSC, or compare a DSC/non DSC output with a magnifying glass at this PPI.
>>10763794015" 4K
>>107638429use a picture like picrelated(but the full 1440p/4K version, can't upload it directly because of size limit and poor compressibility), display it 1:1 and make it scroll smoothly in any direction(i tested with horizontal movement), with DSC it will look like you've noninteger nearest neighbor scaled the image when it's in motionI remember someone making comparisons too on another forum, it *is* degrading the image even with images that should be losslessly compressible.

>>107638098>dscirrelevant to the rest of your schizo babble, you wouldnt be an AI by chance?
>>1076379404K is overkill for either size
