I remember an instance last year where it replaced my parentheses for an acronym, my semicolon at the end and added a new clause —in which it explained mid sentence— to the sentence, totalling 4 em dashes and a single comma.Pick a local model at random, pick gemini, claude, qwen, deepseek and tell it to add a sentence to 3 paragraphs of text and they won't replace your punctuation with em dashes.
