Is being pro-AI transphobic?
Do basic normie-tier MicroSD cards have any sort of wear-levelling?>using old ass scanner that scans direct to an inserted SD or microSD card which the machine takes (formatted to FAT32, unencrypted of course)>scans are often sensitive documents>decide it's better to wipe the card each time so there are no remaining traces>only card I have is a 128GB microSD card by mixza (although mine isn't a shark it's a jeeta)>writing 128GB just to overwrite a few MB each time seems a waste>think to self "I could just create a smaller ~1GB partition and thus reduce the writes by over 100 times!">but then I thought "What if it has wear-levelling, and even if I fully overwrite the 1GB partition, the data might have moved somewhere to the rest of the card, so it's still there after the partition wipe???"So yeah, do I need to buy a dedicated small capacity card just for this?
>>107647297Yes. All uSD cards have a FTL with wear leveling. If you try to use FAT on dumb QLC flash you'll have noticeable problems pretty much immediately.
>>107647018It's 2025 but I still need a mail for some basic stuff. I want to say goodbye to my Hotmail account due to Microsoft's bad choices, looking for something more private. Protonmail seems ok, but a bit of a meme (not sure if that matters). Tuta is similar, but in Germany which makes me raise an eyebrow. Mailbox.org is located in Germany too, but you have to pay even for the most basic plan. Are these the only choices worth considering? Any thoughts on Atomic Mail?
>>107647481I forgot to add Infomaniak to the options.
>>107647018How do you solve the dice CAPTCHA? What shpuld I choose? They are all different, or all the same. Same amount of empty dices, sall differemt numbers when add all the dots on each dice, etc. On this one, the 2nd was correct. Unless it's the one with the smallest cumulated number.
>>107647711you're supposed to pick the image that looks the most different from the rest. squint your eyes like a asian real quick, it becomes very easy to tell. its a soft iq check.
>>107647711>"Use the scroll bar below to find the image that has the highest number of empty boxes, then click Next."Pick the second image, anon.
>>107647732Fuck me then. That's one of the most obvious ones. Usually they all look the same. Thankfully thay fucker omly shows up for new users. I had to remove my cookie to get that crap, but now I restored it.
>>107647748I literally had 2 images with 2 empty boxes and 2 images with 3 empty boxes. I had to restart my PC and my Fx is always in pbmode.
How do I remove this bottom "Parameters" panel in Davinci Resolve?

Is it possible to use some sort of file syncing utility to effectively access the same internet browser profile across multiple computers?Like could I use a program to sync all the user profile subfolders for vivaldi/opera/chrome across two computers, and whenever I open it on one, it'll update the browser history, tabs etc on the other provided I don't accidentally have the browser open on both computers at once?
>>107648099Yes as long as, like you said, you don't have the browser open in two places at once. Basically any file sync program should be able to do it, e.g. dropbox. Syncthing is a peer to peer one so you don't have to sign up to a cloud service, but you do need two devices to both be online to sync between them (you can e.g. sync to your phone that way one computer syncs to the phone, then it can go to sleep, then you turn on the other computer and it syncs from the phone, for example - the only thing to remember is that you can't sync to/from devices that are offline with syncthing). The profile itself is usually a self-contained folder, its location varies by browser so look it up.
>>107648134What would happen if both were opened accidentally at once?Would it fuck up the browser profile and lead to actual instability or stuff being corrupted, or would whichever browser was closed last just be the instance that gets synced?
>>107642974>>107642974thanks anon but im only doing this because i cant get into my own fucking router page, at&t now has an app and you log into your at&t account on the app (only from a phone) and THEN you can configure your local network.im a noob at networks so no i didnt even know about icmp. but i dont need to hide from anyone
>>107648217Depends, with syncthing for example it would detect conflicts between files, save both versions and ask you to resolve them manually. It may concievably cause instability because normally this check is done per-file, rather than per-folder, so you will need to be careful not to take some files from one browser and some from another when resolving. No idea how something like dropbox would handle this.
>9060 XT with a 7600X>50-60% GPU usage reported by the AMD overlay>Power draw is at 130WI'm a huge newfag to PC gaming but why is this happening? in other games like Darktide the power draw never goes above 70-80W even when performance is worse than my framerate cap.Is this a CPU bottleneck?
>>107648362>"GPU usage percentage doesn’t directly equal power draw, so a 9060 XT can be at 50–60% load and still consume around 130W depending on clock speeds, voltage, and workload type."
trading view stopped working for me. the search bar doesnt work and when i go to a ticker it never loads. any idea whats going on?

I have a router with stable 300mbps symmetric fiber connected to fiber.I have a gayming setup which I can't feasibly run ethernet to, but has decent wlan signal to. I'm getting mostly 300mbs but some dips to 250 and that also throws latency off whack in games. Can I run QoS locally on the computer to smooth out those spikes?
