AI makes my life easier, as I don't work in tech and my job is not in jeopardy. >>107653264Most younger leftist I know are pro-nuclear, I think most of the anti-nuke ones are fairly vocal boomer or gen-xers who might have grown up in a situation where they had Chernobyl as a living memory and there might have been a period where disposal of nuclear waste was questionable and had some fairly public incidents. But as far as I can remember there have been no major incidents in these departments, besides Fukushima and nothing could have prevented that, and its impact wasn't huge as far as I know. Though It is an interesting note regarding Germany's nuclear situation is that a few investigations into the German Green Party found they were actually funded by Russian gas interests, so had a vested interest in shutting down Germany's nuclear plants.
