Reminder to enable additional filters in your uBO settings such as:>Built-in 6/6, Ads 3/3, Privacy 3/3, Malware Protection/Security 2/2, Multipurpose 2/2, Cookie Notices 4/4, Social Widgets 3/3 & Annoyances 9/9No, these will not increase page loading, it will make them load faster, factually and actually.Reminder to import these into your uBO filter lists (must have):>https://raw.githubusercontent.com/DandelionSprout/adfilt/refs/heads/master/LegitimateURLShortener.txt>https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mchangrh/yt-neuter/refs/heads/main/yt-neuter.txtSome more optional filters that you can import:>https://raw.githubusercontent.com/laylavish/uBlockOrigin-HUGE-AI-Blocklist/main/list.txt>https://raw.githubusercontent.com/liamengland1/miscfilters/refs/heads/master/antipaywall.txt>https://raw.githubusercontent.com/yokoffing/filterlists/refs/heads/main/annoyance_list.txt>https://raw.githubusercontent.com/yokoffing/filterlists/refs/heads/main/block_third_party_fonts.txtReminder to stop using shit like ->AdNauseam, Ghostery, Decentraleyes, Disconnect, Privacy Badger, ClearURLs etc- with uBO, as uBO is simply better than any of those listed, no matter how many times people like Rossman shill for them.Reminder that even though Edge, Brave, OperaGX, Vivladi, still "support" uBO, they're basically gaslighting you, it will NEVER EVER work as good as native support used to be on Chromium, it's still fine to run it however, as it is still better than uBO Lite as it allows you to set-up or import custom filter-lists and update on demand, and no, uBO Lite is barely good, not even decent, filterlists only update when the addon does.Reminder that Edge & Brave default ad-blockers are somehow worse than uBO Lite, but hey, at least you can import a custom filter-lists (for now).Reminder that AdBlocking is not theft, you cannot steal something that didn't even reach you.
>>107654830Most filters overlap though.
>>107654843Once loaded they won't, uBO rapes overlaping.
No thanks I'll be sticking with uMatrix.

>>107654843You can se not all are loaded out of the total in the list, ADguard and easylist have the same filters but ADg changes them a bit so thy will overlap, yes, so either choose adg or easy/fanboys.Adg is trying to appease chrome with lists and their addon you shouldn't use them anymore.
UBO steals money from creators, don't use it
You want less filter lists and no cosmetic filteringCosmetic filters are powered by random javascript scriplets which can make you vulnerable to XSS attacksThese XSS attacks can persist via serviceworkers. Make sure to review chrome://serviceworker-internals or about:serviceworkers to deregister serviceworkers you no longer needThese workees can run javascript even when the browser is closedOnce again: only keep the default filters, and turn off cosmetic filtering. Adding more filters is counterproductive. You should use freetube instead of youtube, and you should seriously consider ublock origin lite because it does not need global scoped permissions to work (you can configure it, you only want network filtering)Network filtering is the best for both security and privacy, cosmetic filters work via scriptlets which are not secure.
