Was it the biggest mistake of nvidia?Nobody bought new cards for many years, and some still use it even now.
of the 10 series, i remember everyone getting a 1080.me? still rocking a 1050 Ti. don't really play modern games.
Got a gigabyte 3080, it broke in about 2 years, and even when it was working, it was sucking a lot of power even while idling.Had to switch back to an old 1060, and it can run most things without much trouble.
>>107664649>it brokeHow?I'm asking because there are surpsringly many even on this board who call a graphics card "broken" even if it's just a fan on it failing.
>>107664603the need behind buying something more powerful than this is purely artificial, shitty devs vibecoding unoptimized ue5 slop. this is why new cards are shipping with half the vram they should have, they learned their lesson and have geared towards a future of artificial obsolescence

>>107664603It's well and truly obsolete now, but if all you play is old games and indie shit, still works just fine. The 1080 Ti on the other hand ..
