is this still good for hobby programming? i havent used an ide/editor since like 2019, are there better options out there now? on jeetdows, at least.

I use it on both Linux and Windows. Its great not having to have to open up a shell and just have it run stuff with a button click. I wish plugins came preinstalled and having to manually download color schemes is a pain
