>employ Chinese people
>they steal your tech and join your Chinese competitors
>>
I wonder if it ever occurred the AI Race retards that they could steal China's tech instead and save on R&D costs.

China probably won't be so stupid to introduce H-1B visa

O vey!!!!
>>
>hire someone
>pay them the bare minimum, zero work protections, entire H1B system is literally designed to abuse them
>surprised they leave with a massive fuck you.

I legitimately do not understand the US private sector. Its like its being run by 90IQ psychopaths. I mean sure you can be evil, but maybe try not being stupid? I've only been a year out of the military and I miss it, it made me feel like a normal appreciated human being compared to what the corporate world is. You guys might think I'm crazy, but anyone that's been in gets it. It used to be the case that the military was abusive, and maybe it still is, but in comparison the modern private sector is just spitting on your face just to be evil with no actual gain beyond that.

>pay them the bare minimum
>Software Engineer compensation in United States at Nvidia ranges from $167K per year for IC1 to $558K per year for IC6. The median yearly compensation in United States package totals $313K.
Just stop stealing Zhang

The US has around 340 million people. Companies need to stop cutting corners importing "labor" loyal to other countries and start developing the internal resources of the US.
>teeheehee USA dumb
There are more than enough people on the right side of the bell curve in the US but they're very poorly utilized. Most companies either can't recognize them or aren't willing to pay them anywhere near what they're worth. The few industries that can identify them and will pay them well are adtech and fintech, both destructive forces but the only two that are willing to develop and pay for the talent they want. Everyone else, even trillion dollar companies that have the resources to develop and retain domestic talent, refuse to do so. Now it's fucking them in the face.
>>
>>107669952
How does that tie to actual working hours and value provided..... If they're making the company millions, they should be compensated more than a random stock holder. Similarly, consider how little the dollar goes when you have to work in a place with insane cost of living and live amongst undesireables. China will give you actual luxury, and the best you can have in the USA is a south africa tier compound hiding away from the groid hordes.
>>
>>107669952
Multi TRILLION dollar company. Not billion. Not million. TRILLION. Multi TRILLION. Yes, the engineers who create the products that make it a MULTI TRILLION dollar company are underpaid. They're not slapping together React pages to update the company cafeteria's lunch menu site.

>OUR great American companies are LOSING workers to evil communist China!
The solution is just to go full north korea and ban people from leaving. We don't want you mutts here anymore. Go back home.
>>
>>107670025
Then why didn't he just hire Taiwanese chiggas instead of Chinese chiggas?
>>
>>107669577
I guess they are lucky jeets are too dumbfucking stupid to make any kind of integrated circuit much less to steal their advanced tech. However chinkvidia is too fucking stupid not to let dumbfuck jeets loot their company of cash with h1b and outsourcing.
>>
>>107670049
theres probably tons of clauses in their contracts that they cant work for their competitors for x number of years if theyre working on sensitive stuff
>>
>>107670097
If they escape to China and never go back to America (which is perfectly reasonable if they're Chinese and don't have any family in America) then none of this is enforceable
>>
>>107669882
they did though

>It used to be the case that the military was abusive, and maybe it still is

And their valuation is 50x earnings. Nvidia isn't bringing in 4 trillion a year. They're bringing in 100b a year and 20b of that is spent solely on payroll. Should companies pay employees more money than they make? It wouldn't work out
>>
>>107670302
>earnings
What you need to understand is that the stock market is a legalized gambling game, since price is not tied by statute to dividends.
>>
>>107669638
They can’t, China is always at least month behind US at almost every technology. However they have massive manufacturing base that mogs the rest of the world. US can only do a single thing, and that is invest all of its money into RnD. So US spying or even both parties sharing all technology would just benefit China because they could build all the tech faster and cheaper.
>>
>>107670339
What good is RnD when you don't have to means to (mass) produce?
>>
>>107670332
Stock price is not revenue. Insisting that it is is like insisting that a landlord that owns a 1m house is making 1m a year renting it out.

At least 20 years of profit and growth is priced into that 4t valuation. It's more like 50 years in the case of Nvidia right now
>>
>>107670405
It’s not. US fell for the RnD meme. Too busy researching fiction instead of just building nuclear power plants or making solar panels more durable like China. Just taking what already works and making it better.
