Lol, no. Unless you have some goldilocks router model like a WRT54 that's not true at all. I have two Vodafone cable routers and two of those huawei home gateway boxes, all picked up from random yard sales, and nobody has a functional install for any of them. I'd guess the ratio is 1 in 20, at best.
