How the fuck do I transfer large amount of media from an iPhone to a Windows PC? I need to backup some pictures and videos for my mother. I tried connecting it via USB and copy through file explorer but it always cancels the connection after few files. I tried with iTunes and same shit. Windows Photos can't even detect the phone. All data transfer apps I could find are paid after few GB. Don't you itoddlers have anything like AirDroid that just works? Jesus Christ I just want to transfer some images and I'm already trying to figure it out for two hours. What an absolute unusable piece of shit. This ecosystem is as far away from just works as it gets.
You'll probably have an easier time just uploading that shit to Gay-oogle Photos and just downloading them on your mom's PC, or sharing them with her.
I literally never had any problems transferring media between my Android phone and my Windows PC. OP, I think you might have a serious case of profound retardation.>iTunes>Windows PhotosWell, if only Windows had a File Explorer to look at files on mounted devices...
>>107683792Did you even read my post you illiteral faggot?
>>107683786Ugh I wanted to avoid that but I guess there is no other way
>>107683749Download iCloud for Windows and download(sync all pictures straight to Windows. The only downside is that you can't change the default folder anymore (it's now always C:\user\pictures\icloud). But otherwise it works just fine.iTunes does not work here.
>>107683749Give it back jamal
>>107683749>I tried connecting it via USB and copy through file explorer but it always cancels the connection after few files.shit cable? try another one?honestly the way how itoddlers yap about their slop would make you believe shit like hat literally never happens lmaothis is mtp over usb extender level of trash
I used Windows Photos last time I believe. DO NOT TOUCH THE PHONE DURING TRANSFER, transfer got cancelled when I unlocked the phone during the transfer. Also tell your relatives to stop buying stuff that doesn't work with their Windows PCs
>>107683749Back when I had an iphone, it tried to convert the heif image format to jpg when I transferred images to my computer. This failed after a few GBs. I disabled conversion to jpg and it worked.
>>107683749It's very simple: You don't.
>>107683749>This ecosystemWindows is not a part of it.
>>107683749I had to use a special Windows app to backup media from my iPhone.>I tried connecting it via USB and copy through file explorer but it always cancels the connection after few files. You can't just plug it in and browse it like a USB drive. I don't even know what the fuck you're doing here.
>>107683907There isn't, this is the best way.
>>107686778>You can't just plug it in and browse it like a USB drive. You can now.
>>107683749Nigga just log into iCloud on the browser and download your media. Idk if you need the plan or not but that’s what I have
