i had a bad experience with ai where i thought to use it in order to 'steelman' a proposal i was putting together. i was making a strong argument, so naturally, chatgpt didn't like it, and had all these suggestions for 'improvement' and 'softening' it. i kept working and working with it and ended up delivering something that wasn't in line with my intentions. i was confused. my proposal was incoherent. in the end, it was a disaster.

good early lesson for me desu.
