Can anyone give me a technical reason why you dislike Rust?
I like the features. It's supposed to be something like a modern C/C++ replacement. What's wrong with that?

Whenever I come on /g/ the only complaints I see are trannies, trannies, trannies. I admit that is a bit troubling for the state of the rust community, especially if you have to interact with insane people, but this is par for the course in this kind of work. Linux devs? Autistic weirdos. Free software devs? Autistic weirdos. Mathematicians? Autistic weirdos. Anything serious and technical STEM? Autistic weirdos.
Rust? Autistic weirdos on hormones.

I could use C++ if I wanted I guess. Is it still the best choice over C?
