>Sandboxing is mandatory for all Mac App Store apps

Is this why all /g/poos hate on macOS?
You can't hack it as easily as linux/windows?
>>
>>107693238
no its bc you cant upgrade them

Is that really Apple's fault that everyone else makes the continuous, conscious choice glaze the ever living fuck out of their design decisions?
>>
>>107693238
nobody uses the macOS App Store, althoughbeitever

yes and no
your duty (or dharma if you are into buddhism) as a consumer grade technology vendor is to create products that are useful to your customers and arent detrimental to the future of the humanity
these two are the main ones, you can also add "benefit your nation" or "ecofascism" to that list as well if thats your cup of tea

apple products are:
>sub optimal when it comes to being useful
>net negative when it comes to "humanitys future and well being" in the presence of alternatives
>net negative when it comes to environmentalism
>net negative when it comes to nation's interests
>net negative when it comes to human rights

so yes it is other vendors fault for being niggercattle oriented but its also apple's fault for not doing what is right for everyone

>net negative when it comes to environmentalism

Wrong

>net negative when it comes to nation's interests

Wrong, it's company, companies have no national interest.

>>net negative when it comes to "humanitys future and well being" in the presence of alternatives

Schizophrenia

>>net negative when it comes to human rights

for any zoom zooms that might be reading
the way how you go about debates and arguments is you present your counterargument to your opponents arguments
when you are doing that your argument is supposed to be logically consistent and contain factual information
if it isnt your opponent will attack either logical fallacies or factual inaccuracies in your argument or even both

going "NO UR WRONG" like this 14 y.o. "le epik troll" over here >>107693830 will just signal to everyone that you are a mental midget or a troll and you will be simply ignored or laughed at in any conversation with anyone who has triple digit iq

Linux offers choice. I can have a secure computer that surpasses that of Apple's (some here have been convinced otherwise for silly reasons). Those with strong opinions about Linux aren't proficient with using a terminal or follow instructions/remember commands. I don't want Apple telling me what to do with a computer. If you're truly interested in a secure Linux computer, general information is easily available.

macOS also requires sandboxing for non-App store installed apps.

>DON'T trust APPLE!!

>>LINUX IS SUPERIOR SINCE YOU HAVE TO RELY ON RANDOM GITHUB USERS, ANONS WITH FURRY AVATARS, TRANNIES AND COMPANIES LIKE REDHAT, IBM, ORACLE, HUAWEI, INTEL, AMD!!!
>>
>>107694233
And you see an issue with this why? Having choices is great when only trusting is no longer acceptable. I have the ability to verify and this increases security.

Apple is serious about security; they invest a lot in white hat hackers. What’s the Linux Foundation’s budget for this?
>>
>>107694831
There is a greater incentive to ensure security for Linux as it's more important infrastructure than a macOS computer. A budget is not necessary as a lot is free and open source that even Apple has greatly benefited from.

>YOU HAVE TO RELY ON RANDOM GITHUB USERS
But I dont have to rely on random github users, I rely on redhat/ibm/fedora employees for the most part.
