AI models get 50% more tokens second running on Linux vs Windows. Microsoft can´t afford to fall behind on AI in any domain.
Microsoft is going to be only a cloud services and AI company soon. PCs will be resigned to the dust bin of history. Normies will eat their internet and gaming slop using iOS or Android dumb terminals. A few nice enthusiasts will be running bare Linxux or a BSD.
