Also you can sometimes cause weirdness when you try and shadow variables where it will complain the .NET JIT already optimized it. It's a really weird language. Is it better than bash? Sort of, at very specific examples, but even on Windows I still end up lowering to cmd.exe or old timey DoS and early NT binaries because PowerShell is not comprehensive.
