I just graduated from cs in my shithole country, i worked as a tech support for vehicle tracking device company. The only thing i did in my 3 month period was Customers call us, communicate the data that needs changing in the database, and I make the changes (license plates, vehicle numbers, driver information, etc.). Sometimes we also resolve errors by sending pre-prepared commands to the device. My main question is, I'm completely unfamiliar with job marketing; is this a good job to start? If not, what should I do? sorry for being so ignorant please be nice
Depends on what you want to do with your life. Tech and hardware support can be a good gig. I spent a couple years being a glorified hardware janny. Basically you just setup people with computers and laptops and printers and wifi and shit. It's mostly mindless but its fine. QA and tech support are fine if thats what you want to do. I think its worse. But that's just my opinion of whatever. Finally you got programming and shit. It's a tough job market, but if you make it in you get a desk job where you can fuck around on 4chan which is pretty cushie.
