Also there isn’t enough wealth beyond food to sustain our whole population, third worlders live in shitholes and it’s not because they are incapable of managing society. If we had enough resources to make UBI possible there wouldn’t be outsourcing to piss poor countries that will do anything for pennies. Also even if we had enough resources you need to motivate people to do hard essential work by threatening them with starvation and homelessness. If we had UBI half of the country would just stay at home doing low cost entertainment and gooning all day because it’s preferable to having to work in 90% of jobs. UBI exists only for people too disabled to work properly because threatening them with starvation would force them into workforce where they would just make everything worse.
