>YouTube blocking VPN access
Now it's truly over.
>>
>>107699448
protonvpn hidden protocol. free btw.
>>
>>107699457
i mean stealth protocol sorry im retarded ;_;
>>
>>107699448
>the electric Jew now removes himself from your life
How is this a problem
>>
>>107699457
>>107699460
you actually are retarded
ProtonVPN's stealth protocol prevents YOUR ISP from knowing that you connect to it, presumably by routing over a major CDN like CloudFlare, at the expense of a bit of latency.
It does NOT however prevent YouTube/etc from knowing that you are using a VPN.

>>107699448
It will be over when they get a conclusive list of VPNs. Currently, and for years, they have been selectively blocking VPNs. No change occurred.
>>
>>107699448
Did you encounter this yourself? I'm using VPNs and proxies all the fucking time (otherwise internet is unusable in my hellhole of a country) and I have never encountered anything like this.
>>
>>107699578
Thanks, thats good to know. What is the usecase for stealth? I guess some countries where VPNs arent allowed?
>>
>>107699622
correct.

It helps me bypass reddit's VPN block though, and proton themselves state that it's meant to obfuscate vpn traffic to get past blocks, that's why I recommended it. Why are you going apeshit about this? :/

>What is the usecase for stealth? I guess some countries where VPNs arent allowed?
Yes. But it's actually not that good at evading advanced DPI filtering lol.
>>
>>107699637
Retard. It's about obfuscating your traffic against DPI. This is literally what it is saying. It's against government/ISP blocks, it does nothing against IP blocks. The fact that it works against reddit block is just a coincidence due to using a different server.
>>
>>107699642
I haven't tried Proton's but if you want to beat DPI (ex: China's), there is no other option than to use CDN + TLS, aka route over a cloudflare proxy'd website. I don't think Proton is doing that, I think they just route over TLS.

>>107699637
You are a retard who misunderstands what it does and doesn't do.
>>
>>107699653
correction, CDN + WS + TLS
WS being websocket
>>
>>107699653
>there is no other option than to use CDN + TLS,
in Russia (arguably has worse censorship than China nowadays) vless+reality works fine, and from what I know, it works fine in China
>>
>>107699668
depends on the city, time of day, and how much bandwidth you move over it
If you want bulletproof, at the cost of latency, gotta go with CDN + WS + TLS.
And that's going to be slow as fuck if you use ordinary DNS to look up the domain rather than speed testing (daily or more frequently) pools of cloudflare domains.
>>
>>107699448
Only criminals use VPN anyway.
>>
>>107699687
by speed testing cloudflare, I mean using the following script or rolling your own and then serving up the fastest IPs with local-data in unbound.conf or another DNS provider.

https://www.cloudflare.com/ips/

>>107699703
ya feel free to just rawdog the internet. I bet you don't even use a condom when you plug in a USB.

inciting, i am truly appalled
>>
>>107699721
lol u mad
>>
>>107699448
Fuck, I don't get the VPN/Proxy message, but as soon, as I use my private browser (clean without cookies) + a VPN and no JewTube account, google wants me to log in, to confirm that I'm not a bot.
>Fine
You can create a google account without a phone number, but it asks you to scan a QR code with your phone, LOL. Thats so fucked. I couldn't even use jdownloader, but 3rd party websites to download videos work.
>hmm
I guess I'll limit my JewTube usage, it got out of hand anyway. I will be more selective now. But accountless works without a VPN, I guess they will still profile you and add up your usage to your previous used account, based on your typing, mouse movement and your preferences
>4chan
sadly 4chan doesn't allow vpns, todays internet sucks so much
>>
>>107699803
for me? it is ikatube
>>
>>107699724
I think he's just succeptable to your bad bait is all.
>>
I just hop vpn servers while restarting the broswer until one works. But the message i get is about being a bot and having to sign in

They low key did that for the longest time with this.
>>
>>107700060
currently you can bypass this block by disabling ipv6. the vpn/proxy block is to fight against inviduos instances that are doing god's work
>>
>>107700085
That is useful, I'll give it a try. Thanks.
