Ever wonder how the hell Valve simply allows people to access Steam's various APIs to access any user's historical data? Like, think of SteamREP for example and how shit that was while it was still around. People still leave +reps on profiles thinking it does shit.

There's still a couple websites that profile Steam users and ignore privacy whilst also pay-walling features like viewing deleted comments. Kinda fucked up if you ask me, anons
