In this case you will only get limited functionality from this device on linuxBased on comments of this posthttps://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/798254/linux-and-diy-connection-to-dacit sounds like linux is falling back on a standard UAC1 protocol which explains why you are getting sound at all.Regarding the quiet sound, somebody else has reported this problem with KA11 and described their fix:https://blitpxl.com/2025/05/17/fixing-usbdac-linux.html(Fedora uses pipewire -- in my experience pavucontrol works for it)
