What holds it up from being considered a beginner-friendly distro, like Ubuntu or Linux Mint?

For anyone being a noob there's serious forks of those too. But for fedora there's only meme forks.
I always had more issues trying to get shit to work on Fedora. Since the late 2000s.Everytime there's something that I can get to work on different distros that becomes just a pain in the ass in Fedora. Sometimes it's hardware, sometimes it's some software, but there is always something. It's like Fedora's trying to play difficult. Oh look at me your tweaks won't work on me, you have to do something else, have fun figuring it out you silly boy teehee.

>>107703818Fedora is really popular. It was one of my first distros to daily drive. It's just hard to recommend to beginners, because of the all FOSS codecs, just like openSUSE. Beginners don't want to swap codecs, get proprietary drivers etc.
