I always had more issues trying to get shit to work on Fedora. Since the late 2000s.Everytime there's something that I can get to work on different distros that becomes just a pain in the ass in Fedora. Sometimes it's hardware, sometimes it's some software, but there is always something. It's like Fedora's trying to play difficult. Oh look at me your tweaks won't work on me, you have to do something else, have fun figuring it out you silly boy teehee.

>>107703818Fedora is really popular. It was one of my first distros to daily drive. It's just hard to recommend to beginners, because of the all FOSS codecs, just like openSUSE. Beginners don't want to swap codecs, get proprietary drivers etc.

I've been using ganoo/loonix since before the retarded zoomers on this site were born, once in a while I will try Fedora because people keep talking about it but it's always just ass. So many little things broken that work fine in other distros, even more niche ones, every single time, and on top of that there was just never any particular reason to use it over whatever was the "standard" PC distro at the time.The meme is true, Fedora only really exists so people can beta test RHEL for free.
