Of course I don't have one. There's no need for one in 2025.
>>107706486What do you even use DVD for these days? At least with my Blu-Ray writer I can write 100GB DL M-Discs for archival and backup.

>>107706498>What do you even use DVD for these days?Roms, drivers, isos etc.Anything bigger than 4.7gb is bloat and doesn't deserve to be stored.
>>107706486encryption key is useless on a desktop because Intel already retroactively removed bluray drive ability to watch any bluray movie at all.
>>107705853Pretty much all laptops these days don't come with one. That thin and faggy Apple look is too fucking hipster and useless. It's now a plague on phones too with the camera warts that they can't hide anymore so they just ignore it. They do this on purpose to cut down on piracy I heard. But it simply moves the goal posts a bit directly to digital. That stealing DVD's, CDs, Blu Rays and now 4K shit was driving the anti-piracy companies bat shit crazy. Too bad you can just get an enclosure for your old drive or put it into a desktop. Of course you can spend even more money and buy a portable thin line one too. I don't care how you do it, but fight back and don't let them win. Ever.
