Yes, and not everything needs to be done on your computer.
Dickens and Kafka never had a computer to write on.
Leonardo and Michelangelo never had computers to draw with.
Euler never had to use a computer to write any of his mathematical proofs.
And yet Pakistani children and gay people from Portland use computers nowadays.
Perhaps the problem isn't with Terminals or OSes, but rather the fact that people forget there's a whole world out there that should have nothing to do with computers.
