Why is rechargeable battery advice always so inconsistent?>let your battery discharge every now and then>never let your battery hit 0%, always keep some charge in it>but don't charge it to full constantly>don't charge it frequently>don't let it go too long without being on a charger
>>107711424Discussions on how to charge your battery is the same as discussions on how to apply thermal paste to your CPU: it doesn't matter.
Different BMCs handle things differently
Just use your device normally you probably won't be able to tell the difference
Don't bother with all that voodoo and pay the $139 every two years for a new battery, ezpz.
Doesn't matter, it's the same fucking thing:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLS5Cg_yNdM
the only solid advice is charge it up to 80%. it will last much longer.
Lithium batteries are inherently disposable products so having them permanently embedded inside of cutting-edge electronic devices is the peak of capitalistic excess and stupidityPeople in the far future will look back at it like medieval kings eating 20-course meals of roasted peacock and boar meat and ostrich eggs or whatever the fuck
>>107711579This is the actual reason. When battery replacements became expensive and not user accessible, lots of myths rose about how to preserve batteries as long as possible.

>>107711438I agree. It's like a few percent difference overall.Your OS will prevent the worst case scenario anyway.Just change your battery when it won't last a day anymore.
cap it to 80, charge at 20, carry a power bank with a decently long cable that will last you for several charges and replace it if it goes to shit
