I want to get an e reader for it's portable nature instead of lugging books around working and traveling.

I have a 5th-gen Kindle that I still use regularly. Much easier on my eyes than any phone I've used. I got one without ads, so I don't see the need for CFW.

I have a Kobo Libra H2O, it's amazing. I read more now than I did with paper books.

I put KOReader on it. I never use the stock firmware, I bought it with the intention of using it with KOReader.
