Linux (Arch especially LOL) struggle for these very reasons. It's no coincidence Mint / Bazzite / CachyOS / etc are the most popular Linux distributions with Windows escapees. The average user is a dumbass. Seniors can't tell you the difference between the web browser and the operating system, and the smartphone-first youth struggle with basic things like where files get saved.
