How many keys does your ideal keyboard have? What's your favorite layout?
This one's working fine for me.
183 or more.
The perfect keyboard only needs 5 keys.
>>107719043>I'm a zoomer and terminal brainrot prevents me from drawing anything without a rainbown on it.
tenkeyless is fine, thanks
Ideally 75% but anything below 80% since I use a laptop
>>107719043129 and a half.
>>107719066Looks pretty useful, but a lot of keys are in stupid places.
>>10771904380% + separate matching numpad (so I can put it on the left side)
>>107719043>tenkeyless>is actually missing 17 keysexplain yourselves keyboardfags.
>>107719043TKL
>>107719254Rounding error
Anything over 42 keys is bloat.
>>107719043After finishing the edit I realized I might as well have just drawn it from scratch, but I want something like this I think. Might have to try and fail to DIY it myself eventually.
>>107719043I have typed on a lot of keyboards.I have used full size, tkl and 60% keyboards.I have typed on the weird split keyboards with 32 keys.I have typed on the ufo looking as keyboards with curved keywells.Every time I came back to the HHKB after a few months. There really is nothing else that I like quite as much.I'm thinking of buying a couple more in case they company making these goes out of business one day.
>>107719043No reason to not use a full sized keyboard. Still not sure how they managed to scam so many people into accepting it as the new default. If your keyboard being like 5-10cm longer creates issue with desk space. You should focus on moving out of the tiny caravan you live in instead of wasting money on keyboards.
>>107719043for me, it's 61 keys. no reason to use a full size keyboard other than "that's what we always used". it's very comfy if you manage to control your computer and applications with those keys only. also any laptop keyboard will immediately feel like home
I use 50 keys and heavily rely on layers. This isn't my build (built my own) but I've been using it as a daily driver at work/home for about 5 years now. I use the Colemak layout as well.
>>107719043like anyone browsing /g/ around 2018 I got psyoped to by a 60% keyboard. Then after years of suffering I finally got my hand on a 100% 102 keyboard and I found bliss and peacefulness at last. If you don't have enough room to have a big keyboard, than reconsider your life. Desk too small ? By a bigger desk. Room too small ? Buy a bigger room. Money too sparse ? Buy more money. Simple as.
>>107719043The 75% would be great if it had some separation for the F-keys and the arrow keys.
>>107719667>Buy more moneyBased
>>10771904360% for me :3
>>107719791so true, sis ^-^
>>107719065These keyboards are unbreakable.
>>107719043this many keys
