You know, the fun part about what you're showing in that video is that this entire process is 100% possible both on Windows and Linux, too: you're opening a container (or "mounting" a "disk image" on Mac), then manually (!) copy an app package to your programs folder, then start it. You even have to eject the disk image after you're done.

ANY modern OS offers app stores, where you can one-click-install apps without having to do any of that retro shit from your video.
