Why do the frame interpolation nodes keep crashing ComfyUI for me? I'm assuming it's an OOM issue but it doesn't show an error and even then it's weird because I'm using a 48gb vram cloud gpu for videos. It can do one or two vids before it breaks. Already tried the RIFE VFI and kijai GIMM VFI nodes and they both have this issue.

it works inside the directory you put it could be better but i do not care it fast it just will merge, it will will be save to add more merge clips as it kill output first it does not check properly i should fix that but i know linux bash will just move to next line i've used linux almost 20 years so what ever.

save as .sh file, then chmod it as user not root

chmod +x myscript.sh

then call it with ./myscript.sh

it will first kill previous output.mp4 so its never included in list if it don't exist its no problem really, then it will catalog all files in current directory with .mp4 then it will join them all using ffmpeg with no reinecode and that it basically all it does, stolen from some example over a year ago.

it will leave your input files intack but give you output.mp4 which on new run it will kill and then recreate with what every new merge files you put in the directory.

do not use nodes for it, they will slow they fuck down serious when it comes to many frames....

Unless you want to wait a year for a model vaes are currently still the way to go. There are better vaes this day anyway such as flux 2s
