googling anything is so fucking obsolete. it's only going to get better.
the future is ai
>>
google stuff is still useful, time and a place, different tools for different tasks

>google stuff is still useful
for what besides some apps like maps and such?
in some time, a gtp will makes those obsolete too.
anything i want to know is given to me on a silver plater.
>>
the stuff the ai is saying is literally not true. a working prescription will look correct instantly. it might be fatiguing at first if your eye muscles are shot which if you're nearsighted they probably are but it doesn't take time to adjust to astigmatism corrections. if you do have a really extreme prescription then anything you're seeing is just a lens artifact and will never go away same as like chromatic abberation.

i hope llms make all jeets blind

also I think slu-pp-332 is good for your eyes

for some topics you need the LLM to search the web to get accurate answers. it's getting good at "knowing" when to search but not perfect

>it's getting good at "knowing" when to search but not perfect
so what you're saying is gtp6 will be better than gtp5. amazing.
>>
llms are great for getting the wrong answer faster

Search engines are still useful for finding specific websites, but information itself is indeed better handled by AI.

You may thank planned obsolesence for this twist.
>>
>>107727288
they literally crippled their search engine just so you feel the need to use their AI bullshit
I will NEVER trust LLMs. they are a glorified, unreliable autocomplete that can be used to mass control and brainwash people. sure, you could use search engines to do the same, but LLMs are worse in that sense.

I had to deal with this when I got new contacts recently and my optometrist said almost the exact same thing (though timeline was different).

No it isn't. AI fully replaces all other information technology. It isn't even a contest. AI is the future. If you are not enhancing all aspects of your life 100x with AI you are already left behind, Luddite.
>>
>>107727354
The AI is correct. You do not know what you are talking about, Luddite.
>>107727367
Indians will rule the world, Timmy. We already took your job.
>>107727398
LLMs always give you the answer you asked for. If there is a problem it is with you and your prompts, not the AI.
>>107727402
Use case for websites? AI replaces websites.
>>107727963
No, Google has always been bad. AI Overview is just better than anything that has existed before.
>>
>>107728029
>No, Google has always been bad
you obviously never learned how to use its search operators and the tools it had (all of which seems to have been killed in the last year or so)

nevermind, I should have read the whole message before replying.
ignore this shitty attempt at trolling.
