will wearable monitors be a thing starting with the steam frame?
Sure, you can use it, I used it on an oculus DK2 , but PPD is still too low to really replace a monitor.
>>107734616Yes and I can't wait. Imagine you are done with your work, just stand up, resting on your couch, just opening your browser (it's linux lol) and open a VR porn. If you are done with that, you will open Hades 2, play for a bit. repeat.
depends on: how heavy it is, bandwidth of the display link, and ppi/ppd
is it going to let you disconnect the battery and power it from the wall?black and white passthru is going to suck though. i hope it's not as bad as the quest 2 at least. inb4 you can mod it, i guarantee it's not going to happen.
Without a varifocal display and vastly higher PPI, reading text will never be comfortable for the level you'd need it to be to do any real work on it.
>>107734616im only interested in this because reviewers say its one of the most comfy headsets theyve tried. but i dont think it has a chance of being a monitor replacement.
The screen resolution will be usuable but to low to be comfortable unfortunately.
>>107734782>he just virtually nutted in me and then opened hades 2
Still way too low res, as others said.
