>>107742140Looks good, but too expensive. 360euro preorder. My budget for phone is usually 100-200My Motorola still works great
>>107742140>Communicator will run Android 16. We’re comfortable committing to 2 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.Dropped.LineageOS when
Inb4 some shit low end mediatek or rock chip SoC
>>107742140Blackberry's were the shit. I feel so bad for all the young people that barely missed these. This was the last one I had back in like 2011, the Blackberry Curve 3G. These were like one of the cool phones to have before iPhones were the standard. Blackberry's and Sidekicks. Getting one of these gave me the same feeling that getting a new iPhone gives me now. I felt so lucky and better than everyone else.
>>107742319wait lmao, that is the same as the worst chink phones
>>107742140>$400>check specs>Communicator uses a modern 4-nanometer, 5G IoT SoC platform from MediaTekimagine paying $400 for a phone with a mediakek cpu
>>107742326>>107742335
>>107742335Lol imagine being this way WE NORMAL HUMAN BEINGS WITH WHITE SKIN DONT USE PHONES TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES.that's just you being seamonkey/pooji, 4nm cpu is enough for adult man tasks.
>>107742335It's not 400 usd, it's 500 usd so it's even worse

>>107742257tweets the n-word
>>107742140My only issue with this is the lack of biometrics for NFC auth. I don't want to enter a pin whenever I buy a coffee
>>107742363OH NONONONONONOAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>107742437According to the website it has a fingerprint scanner in the spacebar
>>107742140Might as well drop a link since OP is a fag as usual https://www.clicksphone.com/en/communicator
I would buy this if it had a non-removable battery and LineageOS preinstalled.
>>107742140where is the trackpad?
Preordered mine.>>107742346No matter what the phone is, there will always be someone who complains about the specs yet never had any intentions of buying one.
>>107742490Enjoy your shitty SoC, I'll be sticking with my flagship Snapdragon powered Samsung.
>>107742490What's nice they put the headphone jack on top so it's perfect for pockets, finally some user friendly design.
>>107742525Enjoy your pegasus ridden samshit, rofl.

>>107742483Has a capacitive keyboard.for scrolling but that's it.
>blackberry sold outdated hardware at a premium thinking the formfactor would keep customers >they die>people show up and copy blackberry while shipping outdated hardware at a premium
>>107742479Thanks Anon. I'll try not to be so much of a fag next time.
>>107742531isn't it normal to put your phone upside down into your pockets?
>>107742257Gives you 100 dollars but kills a random person in the world.
>>107742291I don't like them either but what exactly about the design is tranny coded??
>expandable microSD storage up to 2TBDon't even need spotify at that point
It's considered "normal" since subpar designers place the 3.5mm jack on the bottom If the 3.5mm jack is on top there's no need to flip.
This device is for autists
>>107742257instant chat with mossad agent
>>107742140>>107742327All keys look like the same rounded rectangles instead of each contoured to accommodate the shape and motion paths of human fingers like BlackBerry keypads were. They're not the same thing at all.
>>107742912>>107742955Not either of you but I always pocket it upside down. No audio jack for years. Just reach in there, pull out the phone, it's right side up and ready to doomscroll.

>>107742257opens clicks.tech on your browser
>>107742986Yeah that's how I am doing it too, with a headphone jack. That anon might have a revelatio now

>>107742140>buttons on the screen area instead of on the sidesYOU HAD ONE JOB!>tfw no improvement same old trash
>>107742924gotta stock up on replacements for repair then
>>107742140The back reminds me of Galaxy S5
>>107743023You are putting it UPSIDE DOWN, because you need to otherwise your cable would get fucked? Do you not understand this concept? If headphone jack is on top you don't need to worry about your connector being all fucked up, and you don't need to put it upside down kek. You can just slide it into your pocket, without flipping it.
>>107743046smartphones peaked here
>>107743059agreed. The S7 was good but it was essentially just a slightly specced up S5 anyway, it still had the requisite amount of SOVL
>>107742140>headphone jack >SD card slot >physical sim >notification ledExcellent >not a slider>holepunch camera>rounded corners >mediocre key layout MehMy search for a proper successor to the Blackberry Priv continues
3 colours advertised so far. Smoke white, Onyx black and Clover green.
>>107743101The S7 was actually a specced up S6
>>107742335maybe will it come something like G99 or better?
Am I the only person that doesn't give a fuck about my phone? I've gone a month without looking at it. I also only buy used phones that are a few years old and spend $7 a month on my plan
>>107743120so it was, my bad
>>107743147The way they said "IoT SoC platform" makes me think it's gonna be some weird obscure chipset
So what does it do to justify being $500?
>>107743149Kinda same, I only use it for tracking packages, keeping in contact with my parents, and logging into my bank
>>107743173It has a physical keyboard, that's the only reasoning they have. Don't tell them you can just buy one of the Unihertz Titan models for around $200 less.
>>107742140sadly I heard these were shit though. buggy software and hardware
>muh specsFor the average phone user, there is ZERO difference in speed from the top-of-the-line latest iPhone and a smartphone from 2019.
Unihertz made a second blackberry passport clone like two months ago and you retards are seriously arguing over a phone with circular buttons? Jesus christ
>>107743299okay, so why spend so much on this one?
>>107742257Clicks.
>>107742257Self-immolates using a termite charge stored inside the device.
>>107743325I got one of these to use for work and its pretty good, a few things are janky out of the box but its pretty easily fixable for the most part. For 250 bucks the only real down side is the fact its huge
>>107743325This one is way smaller and 65g lighter
>>107742140Clicks is such a shitty brand name and logo. They can do better. They won't survive the RAM crash out this year
>>107743195>>107743325The problem with unihertz is that they don't do headphone jacks or SD cards, which is a dealbreaker for me. The physical design of the titan is nice though
>>107742140I've read the press release and I'm a little confused. It sounds like they're primarily marketing it as a 2nd device to carry around with your smartphone. For this use, I think $500 is incredibly steep for a device that's main selling point is to "triage" messages and get rid of distractions, especially if you own an iPhone where its usefulness will be debatable. I also see it's fully equipped with a sim card, so if you can actually use it as a phone, then I think it's actually not that bad and would be kind of cool to daily a QWERTY phone again. But it sounds like they're marketing it wrong. I don't expect it to be much of a success, especially if it can't be used as a standalone phone.
>>107742525Why do you need that much processing power on a phone? Do you not have a computer?
>>107743483Turns out I'm illiterate. It can be used as a standalone device which is actually kind of cool.I think the marketing should have focused more on it being an actual phone than a 2nd device. If I was due for a new phone I would actually consider it.
>>107743296What are you talking about? It literally got announced 6 hours ago. The only people who have been hands on are the creators of it.
>>107743399I had a 256gb card in my last phone and never used most of it. The titan has 512.The headphone jack is kinda gay but I also never plugged an audio jack into my last phone at all except to use an IR Blaster, and the titan has one built in so the one weird thing it's useful for is already includedIdk these are starting to become unreasonable complaints for something as niche as this, nowadays both of those features are kind of niche by themselves. No fault to user requirements but if it's truly a deal breaker then you're missing out on the first keyboard phone released in like eight years that isn't just a poverty cope device. The keyboard touchpad is dope
>>107742140>Communicator is a fully standalone smartphone that runs Android 16retarded gimmick, we need to get away from surveillance software like android
>>107743573>first keyboard phone released in like eight years that isn't just a poverty cope deviceThat's the thing though, I did have an Fxtec Pro1, and I will be forever disappointed that something was that close to greatness and yet the company behind it fumbled at every possible opportunity.
>>107743325dogshit keyboard layout like all unihertz phones
>>107743115mosad fag and woman
>>107742140buy an ad hivan
>>107742257serious answer: Mod/super key for shortcuts
>>107743115>Clover greenThat's clearly British Racing Green.
can you pull it out of the keyboard? id like to have a phone of that size
>>107742140Why does the display like the window of an 1970s communist bus? Looks like total garbage.
>>107743115Nice camouflage colors. Will be great in WW3
>>107742140Don't fall for this marketing scam. You'll get annoyed by this shit in a few weeks and go back to your main phone
>Androidno thanks
>>107743030Are you a woman? Clearly this is a phone for people who do tasks not take pictures of themselves in/near/consuming things.
Titan 2 is pretty good. Proper successor to Blackberry Passport. Passport Silver Edition is the best phone ever produced imo.
wasn't sure about the form factor, but>4000 mAh batterydealbreaker.
>>107743602it took me like four days to learn how to touch type from titan 2 from a key2. it has a hardware shift, alt, control, a damn symbol key menu. what more do you want nigga
>>107743608>>107743630>>107743720>>107743732>>107743832The neets are in full effect today. The BlackBerry bros must all be......at work.
>>107743977muh dikI want one
>>107742335it's a phone, who gives a shit about the cpu lol
>>107742140i'll preorder this
>>107742263LOAD "UMAMUSUME",8,1
>>107744014Who told Doug to kneel? That's kinda weird.
>>107742140Why headphone jack is on the wrong side?
>>107742140Not bad. If I had a spare $400 (and a job) I"d probably jump on this. Hopefully we'll be able to install Lineage or Graphene on it by the time I can buy one...
>>107744014why aren't you at work?
>>107743977The Titan (2) has me very interested, but I can't justify getting one. I can't imagine it's that much better than a regular phone, and I think 400 is a waste for a gadget.
Where are the navigation buttons? Do they really expect people who buy a tactile phone to want gesture navigation?
>>107743363poor termites, what do you feed them on?
>>107744280>If I had a spare $400Unihertz Titan 2, skip that reddit hardware, it's not even a true phone but some kind of "companion" thing. Also those portrait keyboards are in my opinion shit and even worse than on screen keyboards. Hardware landscape is another thing.
>>107744270Hey in case you didn't know pojeet, you don't hold your phone while you listen to music, usually it's in your pocket when you are outside.
>>107744943everyone has phone upside down in pocket tho not that it matters since wired headphones are not a thing for over a decade.
So this is designed by the same studio that designed the Q10, 9900 and Passport. (Joseph Hofer)This is the real shit.
Phones don't need a keyboard. The internet should be read-only when accessed from a mobile device anyway
>>107744992Again you just proven my point as person who doesn't use wired headphones.Any company that caters to people who use wired headphones, have the headphone jack on top, because if you have it under, it destroys the cable/ headphones.
