I made a Lectenna and it lights up when I run the microwave and put it near the seams around the door.I wanted to make light switch plates that glow dimly using the same principle but it would require the installation wrapping around the live wires and that's too much work for homeowners. There is an existing product but it works by having metal contact plates that run back and touch the live contacts on the actual switch which is mindbogglingly stupid if you ask me (no one asked me).
