I followed a complete, detailed YouTube guide on cleaning the fan for the exact model of my laptop. I did everything the guide said—disconnecting the battery first, draining residual power, and being insanely careful with every step. When I cleaned the fan, I only brushed it and blew air on it—I didn’t spin the fan manually. Now that I’ve put everything back together, the laptop won’t power on at all. No lights, no screen, nothing—even when I plug in the charger. This laptop was working perfectly before I opened it up. I literally just wanted to clean the fan because there was a clear buildup of dust inside. I’m being careful, following guides, and still ended up in this situation… I don’t know what went wrong.
>>107753862start testing voltages, maybe you just bumped something loose. anything metal connected to the pcb that isn't a component can be used as a ground.
>>107753862You should have worn that anti-static wrist-strap.
>>107753862Throw it in trash and buy a new laptop.
You plugged the battery back in?When the charger is connected there is still no charging light on the side of the laptop?
>>107753862You've either >Haven't fully seated one of the cable plugs>Flipped the orientation of some plug>Shorted out some component on the PCB due to missing or misaligned protective film

>>107753862You forgot to plug the power button back in
>>107753862take out ram clean the traces with eraser(that rubber one that erases pencils), both sides. also disconnect battery and reconnect

Is the pic your actual laptop? It looks like the RAM in the pic isn't seated properly and is cocked up. Try re-seating it. With that specific Acer laptop I think the other half of the RAM is soldered so try removing the other stick all together and booting it.
>>107756426*remove it all together if it doesn't boot after receiving it
